He only encountered the caddo. He may have encountered the Kaw but I have never heard/read of him doing so. The Quapaw and Osage were identified by late seventeenth century explorers. So I would just select Caddo.

Which phrase develops the personification of tyranny in stanza 2 to the right honourable william, earl of dartmouth?
Delicious77 [7]

The phrase that best develops this personification of tyranny in stanza 2 is "I, young in life, by seeming cruel fate , was snatch’d from Afric’s fancy’d happy seat". In this phrase, Wheatly describes her capture from Africa as a very unfortunate and troublesome experience.

I believe it is A because after the reconstruction many groups such as the KKK developed and even though most slaves were freed, they weren't allowed very many rights

I took the AP US history test, I think this was one of the questions there.

Why did charles V abdicate his throne
balandron [24]

Charles V abdicated his throne at the age of 56 between 1555-1556 because after almost forty years of ruling an empire (which included the Holy Roman Empire and the Spanish Empire) a series of severe and complicated health issues made him decide to retire.

Apart from ruling one of the most powerful reins by that time, Charles decided to finally abdicate his throne after he had many militaristic, political and especially health problems in his life. For example, he suffered from chronic indigestion, epilepsy as well as gout that was caused by his Hapsburg jaw condition. This disease deformed his jaw completely.
