Vonnegut critique the government because of their interference in American society. They wanted everybody to be equal.

In the excerpt, Hazel praised the announcer for trying and giving his best; making the most out of his God-given talent.

Vonnegut can develop his critique of American society by saying that everybody is not equal. There are those who are more talented than others. There are those who are more intelligent than others. They should not be afraid to express and flaunt their individuality for fear of making others inferior.

Write an informative essay on the topic of immigration. Your essay will use research to describe the changes and challenges that
GenaCL600 [577]

Answer: Students had a choice between two writing prompts for this contest on immigration policies at the border and in the “Constitution-free zone,” a 100-mile perimeter from land and sea borders where U.S. Border Patrol can search any vehicle, bus, or vessel without a warrant. They could state their positions on the impact of immigration policies on our country’s security and how we determine who is welcome to live here. Or they could write about a time when someone made an unfair assumption about them, just as Border Patrol agents have made warrantless searches of Greyhound passengers based simply on race and clothing.

According to this excerpt from Walden, in which subject area did the transcendentalist thinker Thoreau most likely find his insp
Serjik [45]

<u><em>Answer:</em></u>

  • Nature

<em><u>Explanation:</u></em>

Transcendentalism is an American artistic and philosophical movement of the mid nineteenth century, revolved around Ralph Waldo Emerson. Other critical visionaries were Henry David Thoreau, Margaret Fuller, Amos Bronson Alcott, Frederic Henry Hedge, and Theodore Parker. Emerson and Thoreau looked for this connection in isolation in the midst of nature, and in their composition.

Nature presently winds up specific: this tree, this fowl, this condition of the lake on a late spring night or winter morning turn into Thoreau's subjects. Thoreau is open. He gets himself "all of a sudden neighbor to" as opposed to a seeker of winged creatures ; and he figures out how to stay in a house that is no more and no not exactly a spot where he can legitimately sit. Thoreau discovers that he can have and utilize a homestead with more fulfillment than the rancher, who is engrossed with encouraging his family and growing his activities.
