Jesus is the one who came to Earth to save us all. He rose from the dead about 3 days later and came back to life. Jesus was God's son (God felt that Jesus was the one he felt to pick so he is not his real son Mary and Joseph were his real parents.) Mary found this out when an angle told her that her son would be the messiah. (Jesus). Jesus gave his life for our sins so it was not something we had to remember. Jesus will come back one day but it will be a long time. Jesus was not forced to die for us but he choose to because he wanted to be happy for us so he suffered for all of us even the bad. Jesus was very popular and important because he could cure anyone. For example he cured a paralyzed man while he was sitting there saying he would never be able to walk and after one prayer he was able to walk. Jesus works miracles! :)

Who headed the Committee on Public Information?
Verdich [7]
The CPI or Committee of Public Information/Creel committee was founded during WW1.

It was an independent US government agency, headed by George Creel. It was established April 13, 1917.

The CPI had a solid purpose; The goal was to gain influence over the public opinion, in order to gain US support and US participation in WW1.

In an essay, explain the ways in which the United States pursued gradual engagement, and give at least two examples of the isola
Anni [7]
I have encountered this question before. This was my answer.

The United States pursued gradual engagement to the Allied nations of Europe by passing the Lend-Lease Bill.

Under this bill, the United States will provide Great Britain the necessary supplies and armaments that it needs to fight against Germany. Knowing that Great Britain's liquidity is questionable, the United States will not demand immediate payment and when the time comes that payment is demanded, they will accept other modes of payment beside cash.

In this scenario, the United States did not violate the Neutrality Act of 1939. They also ensured that the war fought in Europe will not reach their shores by ensuring that Great Britain has the capacity to fight and win the war against Germany. Thus, their assistance through lend-lease bill.

WHAT EFFECT DID THE MOUNTAINS HAVE ON THE GREEKS? HOW DID IT IMPACT THE WAY THEY LIVED?
ArbitrLikvidat [17]

Answer:

There was a limit on population

Explanation:

The agriculture was so low because of the type of soil there was and it made the Greeks travel to other colonies that possessed arable land. The mountains separated little communities from others so it made it hard to have just one government since the mountains made the rest of the population divided and isolated from each other. This is why there was two governments for the people divided by one side of the mountains and another for the other side of the mountain. Greece was not really unified when it came to governments because of mountains.

Hope that helps
