The correct answer is - South.

The longest river in the world is the Nile River in Africa. The Nile has a roughly south-north direction, beginning from the Lake Victoria and ending up in the Mediterranean Sea. If someone is following the Nile River and it is by hiking upstream, that means that the person will be moving in southern direction. At first the hiker will face relatively flat terrain, but as it moves more and more upstream it will encounter a more rugged terrain, until it finally reaches the Lake Victoria.

romanna [79]

Answer:

The correct Answer is A) Tropical Cyclones

Explanation:

Tropical cyclones, hurricanes or typhoons form when convection causes warm, moist air above the ocean to rise. They begin as a group of storms when the water gets as hot as 80 °F (27 °C) or hotter. The Coriolis effect made by the Earth's rotation causes the winds to rotate.

The Coriolis effect refers to how a moving object seems to tilt toward the right in the Northern hemisphere and left in the Southern hemisphere. An example of the Coriolis effect is hurricane winds turning left in the Northern hemisphere.

Tropical cyclones can be found in the Atlantic Ocean and northeastern Pacific Ocean, and sometimes in the northwestern Pacific Ocean.
