Cumulus clouds indicate a fair atmosphere. These clouds are also called fair-weather clouds. These clouds are white in colour and looks just like floating cotton. These clouds are responsible for heavy rain, snow, lightning in the sky and sometimes tornadoes. Cumulus clouds are low level clouds which are present below 2000 meters. These clouds are present in troposphere layer of atmosphere.
