Use the figure below to complete the following problem. Given: H = 2x + 60 T = x + 30 HALT is a ∠H = 90 120 150
Pavlova-9 [17]

Answer:

∠H = 120

Step-by-step explanation:

See the attached figure

HALT is a parallelogram

So, angles H and T are supplementary.

∠H = 2x + 60  and ∠T = x + 30

∠H + ∠T = 180

∴ 2x + 60 + x + 30 = 180

∴ 3x + 90 = 180

∴ 3x = 180 - 90 = 90

∴ x = 90/3 = 30

So, ∠H = 2x + 60 = 2 * 30 + 60 = 60 + 60 = 120

Find the value of f(3) for the function.<br> f(a)=2(a+4)-3<br> f(3)=___ (simplify your answer)
Nonamiya [84]

Answer:

<h3>Given =><em><u> </u></em><em><u>f(a)=2(a+4)-3</u></em></h3><h3>To Attain=> <em><u>The value of f(3) for the function</u></em></h3>

Step-by-step explanation:

• By Putting the value of a = 3

•f(a)=2(a+4)-3

=>

f(3) = 2(3 + 4) - 3 \\ f(3) = 2 \times 7 - 3 \\ f(3) = 14 - 3 \\ f(3) = 11

• Hence, <em><u>1</u></em><em><u>1</u></em><em><u> </u></em><em><u>is </u></em><em><u>the </u></em><em><u>solution</u></em><em><u> </u></em><em><u>to </u></em><em><u>the </u></em><em><u>function</u></em><em><u> </u></em>

Well, if earth's climate is getting warmer then the glaciers would probably start to melt. I'm not sure how to answer the second one either, maybe since glaciers are so big, they would be a lot of animals living on them and they would loose their habitat maybe causing them to have to move somewhere else?
