Aubrey and Logan got married when they were in school. They are very busy with their studies and work schedule that they rarely

find time for each other. As a result, they are unhappy with their marriage and have considered divorce. They have only few strengths and need to work together on multiple areas if they want to save their marriage. According to Olson et al. (2008), identify the type of married couples that Aubrey and Logan most likely exemplify in this scenario.

Answer:

devitalized marriage

Explanation:

The research used 10 parameters to "measure" a marriage's happiness: communication, couple closeness, couple flexibility, personality compatibility,  conflict resolution, sexuality, leisure activities, family and friends, financial management and spiritual beliefs.

Devitalized couples basically score very low on all 10 areas and at least one spouse is considering or has considered divorce. They are very unhappy with their marriage and have very few areas in which they are actually happy with each other.

Why do so many people believe that "the book is always better than the movie"?
Mars2501 [29]
The book is better than the movie because the book was made by the author. It’s also better because the book is more descriptive however, the movie skips some of the important parts of the book.

In what way is t.c boyles top of the food chain an example of satire
GrogVix [38]

The answer to this question is hidden within the question itself.  How so?  Well, first we need to be aware of what satire is.  What is satire?  Satire is when an author pokes fun of (almost mockingly) the element of a government that the author deems a flaw, failure, or weakness.  It doesn’t necessarily need to be humorous because humor is subjective, and so for every 10 people who find something funny, there are 10 other people who find the same thing not funny.  As such, satire is best determined to be scorn.  That said, because we know satire is scorn for the government, the question is almost self answering in that satire exists within “Top of the Food Chain” because of how he scorns the government.
