The dust bowl was a period of severe dust storms that greatly damaged the ecology and agriculture of the American and Canadian prairies in the 1930s. severe drought and lack of dry land farming to prevent wind erosion caused the incident. hope this helps! :)

Many reformers of the Gilded age were successful in bringing the change they desired; the reforms are still in effect to this day in our country, working to protect American citizens from unfair business practices that concentrated economic power, subjected workers to horrific labor <span>conditions, and outcasted the mentally ill.  That probably doesn´t answer your question at all, but I tried.</span>
