Genetic diversity can be defined as the process of the variation in the genetic information of the organisms occurring naturally over time. This process of genetic variation leads to speciation, which results ti the evolution of the new species. Genetic variation can occur over a long period of time, or it can happen suddenly.

Over the time, by the process of natural selection, the strong genes get selected and passed on while the irrelevant one are eliminated. And over a long period of time, this continual process of natural selection leads to genetic diversity. Random mating, and fertilization also leads to the genetic diversity in a population.

On the other hand, the events, such as mutation, often leads to the sudden genetic diversity.

Hence, Sarah, and John both are correct. The correct answer is 'option C'.

The cyclin B–Cdc2 complex controls the passage from G2 into M and is assembled before mitosis however, its catalytic activity is
postnew [5]

Answer:

Phosphorylases that selectively add phosphate groups to the Cdc-2 subunit, thereby activating this complex.

Explanation:

The cyclin B-Cdc-2 (also known as maturation-promoting factor or simply MPF) complex is activated when it enters into the nucleus during the G2/M transition in the cell cycle. Cdc-2 is a protein kinase that associates with cyclin proteins. These proteins (cyclins) regulate the cell cycle by activating cyclin-dependent kinases. It is well known that phosphorylation of the Cdc2 subunit at different residues can both activate and inactivate the MPF complex. Moreover, enzymes capable of both inactivating phosphorylases and activating phosphatases have also shown to be able to activate MPF.

The respiratory system allows for gas exchange to happen in the lungs. How does the respiratory system affect the cardiovascular
nordsb [41]

Answer:

The correct answer would be B. The respiratory system supplies the oxygen that the cardiovascular system transports to the different cells for the production of energy.

Respiratory system and cardiovascular system work together in order to provide oxygen to each cell of the body. They also help in removing the carbon dioxide (produced by cellular respiration) out of the body.

Respiratory system transport oxygen from outside the body to the alveolar site (in lungs). Oxygen is then carried in dissolved form with the help of hemoglobin (red blood cells) to all parts of the body.

Blood also carries deoxygenated blood (high carbon dioxide content) from all the cells to the alveolar site. The carbon dioxide is then excreted out of the body with the help of the respiratory system.
