The correct answer is - Shoe tree.

In Middlegate, Nevada, alongside the so called ''Loneliest Road in America'', there's a tree that is all covered with shoes. It is the Shoe tree. There's multiple roadside attractions alongside the rods in the United States, an each of them has its story, as does this tree as well.

A man and a woman had an argument, and the woman said to the man that she will leave. The man through her shoes on the tree and told her that she will have to do it barefoot. He than left and went into a nearby bar. The bartender convinced him to go back to his woman and reconcile, and the man indeed returned and reconciled whit his woman. After they had a child, few years after, they returned to this tree where they reconciled and through the shoes of their child on its branches.

The Shoe Tree.

The Middlegate Road, Nevada is called the ‘loneliest road’ in America and has a certain quirky roadside attraction that no traveler can miss.

Further Explanation-

The cottonwood tree or Shoe Tree is just off U.S. Highway 50, and people driving through this road take a break to visit this quirky spot. Locals and tourists visit this tree to hang colorful footwear on its branches, and thus the name, Shoe tree. The Shoe tree was tragically cut down by a group of vandals in 2010, and the police have been unable to find their whereabouts since then. However, in 2017, some local citizens started hanging footwear on a new cottonwood tree nearby, designating it as the new Shoe tree, and since then, tourists have been visiting this tree. The tree has interesting folklore behind it

Popular folklore says that a couple living below the tree had an argument, and the wife threatened to leave the husband as a result of it. The man threw her shoes on the trees, saying that she would have to do it barefoot, thus preventing her from leaving. Storming out of the house, he went to a nearby bar, where the friendly bartender advised him to go back home and reconcile with his wife. He returned home and settled his differences with his wife, and after a few years, they had a child. The couple took their child’s shoes and threw them on the tree as a sign of good luck for their family. Since then, the tradition has continued among the people and has spread to tourists alike. The locals believe that tying footwear to the branches of the tree can bring good luck and reconcile differences among close people and friends. The tradition involves in tying one’s footwear to the branches of the tree, and driving the rest of the destination ahead, barefoot.
