The death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus can be considered one of the most important events in human history because, according to the Bible, when Jesus dies on the cross, that was the one and only time God turned his back on a living being. Jesus also took all the sins of the present and future people away, giving us a chance of eternal life if we believe in God. (John 3:16)
