You can’t really get a different point of view. When you know the person, you’d be writing based off of what you already know. When you don’t know the person, you can have sort of an idea of what they are like. You won’t exactly know what they’re like though.

The moral dilemma is if the human like robots should be exterminated or not.

In the 2011 novel Robopocalypse,  the central theme is that human created robots that have become very close to sentient beings get out of control of their makers and start wrecking havoc but not complete.

It is a hidden fault in the design that causes this, howler, they are now very sentient beings and not just robots.

They have developed feelings and thoughts for themselves.

The dilemma is if it is right to exterminate such creatures that have become sentient or not.
