CARSON: (head down, mumbling) What am I going to tell Mom and Dad? JUSTIN: Why, why, why did you have to play so close to the ho

use? The park is only a block away. That was just dumb, Carson. The glass made a big mess and it's going to rain tomorrow. CARSON: Don't be stupid. I cleaned up all the glass. (holds piggy bank upside down and shakes it) Now I need to see how much money I have. How about you? How much can you chip in, Justin? JUSTIN: (laughing) You must be joking! It wasn't even my ball. CARSON: (angrily) Thanks for nothing. What is going on in this scene?

Answer:

Basically Carson wasn't supposed to be playing with the ball in the house even though the park is a block away but he didn't think to just go to the park.

Justin told him that and now Carson is using his piggy bank money to pay for the broken glass. Carson is asking Justin how much money can he give Carson to help fix the broken glass. Justin is explaining to Carson that is wasn't even his fault and all of this could have been prevented if he would have just went to the park.

Explanation:

Hope this helps.
