How are the settings of the animal shelter and Sofia’s kitchen different

Setting is the time and location of a story.  As you read and come to both of these (the shelter and the kitchen), note the descriptions of both.  A 'T' chart works best.  From there, you can look back and forth at both sides noting the differences.  For example, an animal shelter is usually staffed with workers and holds many cages.  While kitchens are usually a sterile environment for cooking where animals are not held.

Why did the nightly knocking at the temple finally stop in the old man of the temple
jenyasd209 [6]
In the story the old man of the temple, the nightly knocking stopped when the old man finally realized he's dead and his spirit went away with his wife, who came to fetch him. The old man's soul was finally at peace thus leaving the villagers in peace.

The old man was haunting the village without his knowledge, thinking that he was alive and needed help after being set upon by robbers and knifed. His soul knocked on doors to request assistance, when his body already expired due to blood loss.

If you were going to write a narrative inspired by the detail provided in this chart, what dialogue would you include? Provide a
emmasim [6.3K]
Well it all depends on what you're writing about. When you write your rough draft think about the feeling it gives when reading it over. Then if it feels right, give it a go. This might not help much but think about how you feel while reading it.
