Your answer would be humid. When its humid, there's a high level of water vapor in the air, making you feel wet.

Humid, humidity is fog in the air now if you look at the water cycle you can see it is water trying to evaporate but since there is so much water in the air it can't. So when you step outside when it's humid there is water in the air which is why you would feel wet.

An author uses narrative elements to convey a cultural perspective by articulating and analyzing points from his own point of view to tell his story.

Imagery

An imagery is a visual descriptive and figurative language that evokes a mental image and sense of impressions in a given literary work.

Figurative language

Figurative languages are words used in a way that shifts the original meaning of words to convey colorful writings, a clearer meaning and even comparison.

Figurative languages indirectly refers to something using a plain sentence without stating it.

How figurative words are used.

 • To create layers of meanings through senses, sounds and symbolism.
 • Creates a deeper meaning into the theme of a work.
 • To compare two unlike ideas to increase clearer understanding of one.
 • To describe ideas difficult to understand.

Please note that this question is incomplete as it does not contain the poem title, hence, I gave a general view that can help with the answer.

What change, if any, should the author make to sentence 8 to correct the problem of subject-verb agreement? A. NO CHANGE B. "Nei
fredd [130]

D. "Neither my friends nor my family cares about me," said Finlay.

In this sentence there are two subjects, "friends" and "family". Since the conjunction "neither...nor" is used, the subject-verb agreement gets a little tricky. If both subjects were singular, as in he or she, the verb must agree with a singular subject. This is because it is either one or the other not both. In this sentence, one subject is plural, friends, and one subject is singular, family. Family is considered a collective noun, so even though there are many people in the family, there is only one family. Since family is closest to the verb and it is singular, "to care" must be in the singular form. Option B and C are wrong because the verbs "were" and "are" are plural verbs.
