You have been assigned an argumentative writing task where you are to challenge the use of performance enhancing drugs by Olympi

c athletes.
Which is the BEST example of a precise claim you might make for your argument?
A) People who use steroids or other performance enhancing drugs do so because they make them bigger, faster, and stronger.
B) There was a Canadian sprinter in the 1980's named Ben Johnson who got his gold medal taken away because he got caught using steroids.
C) There have been many situations where Olympic athletes have used performance enhancing drugs to get a competitive edge; the problem is that only sometimes do they get caught.
D) Though many athletes argue that as long everybody has the same rules and restrictions, then any legal performance enhancing drug should be allowed, those drugs are still harmful and create inequalities that will damage the pure competition of the Olympics.

Answer:

B) There was a Canadian sprinter in the 1980's named Ben Johnson who got his gold medal taken away because he got caught using steroids.

Explanation:

The use of performance enhancing drugs has been part of olympics since the beginning. The only problem is that sometimes they get caught and sometimes they do not. It is fairly unfair to enhance performance through drugs in comparison to those who are participating without the use of such drugs. That is clear cut an unfair competition.

This point can be strengthened with the help of an example that can certainly make the drug user to be vary. This is option B) There was a Canadian sprinter in the 1980's named Ben Johnson who got his gold medal taken away because he got caught using steroids.

Describe story about a ghost become a human.
SashulF [63]

Answer:

A ghost story may be any piece of fiction, or drama, that includes a ghost, or simply takes as a premise the possibility of ghosts or characters' belief in them.[1][2] The "ghost" may appear of its own accord or be summoned by magic. Linked to the ghost is the idea of "hauntings", where a supernatural entity is tied to a place, object or person.[1] Ghost stories are commonly examples of ghostlore.

Illustration by James McBryde for M. R. James's story "Oh, Whistle, And I'll Come To You, My Lad".

Colloquially, the term "ghost story" can refer to any kind of scary story. In a narrower sense, the ghost story has been developed as a short story format, within genre fiction. It is a form of supernatural fiction and specifically of weird fiction, and is often a horror story.

While ghost stories are often explicitly meant to be scary, they have been written to serve all sorts of purposes, from comedy to morality tales. Ghosts often appear in the narrative as sentinels or prophets of things to come. Belief in ghosts is found in all cultures around the world, and thus ghost stories may be passed down orally or in written form.[1]
