The history of drawing is as old as the history of humankind and has changed and developed through history. New styles developed out of the styles that came before them and changes in drawing styles as well as drawing materials. Artists in Europe before AD 1100 prepared animal skins like parchment or vellum as drawing surfaces. Paper was not made in Europe until the 1100's and for centuries artists made their preparatory drawings on tablets made from slate, wood, and wax.

Do you think laws banning the sale of violent video games to kids violate the u.s. constitution? why or why not ?
Yanka [14]
Sure, violent games can influence some kids, but taking away things that a child likes is like taking away their identity and what they like to do. Some might say, "Oh, they can find others," but it can't be assumed that whoever plays a violent game is going to become a killer. And why should the law ban enjoyment?

What were the effects of laissez-faire capitalism?
Harrizon [31]

Effects of laissez-faire capitalism:

 • Laissez-faire capitalism allows companies to compete freely with each other in an open marketplace.
 • Without costs of government regulation, businesses can grow faster.
 • This leads to price increases for the consumer and the lack of diversification in the marketplace.
 • Without restrictions from the government, there is more incentive for innovation, and technological advances can take place.
 • This can result in a large wealth gap in a society with a few very rich people in control of the majority of the economy's wealth.
 • Capitalism (or laissez faire) feeds and clothes and houses more people at higher levels than any other system.
 • Workers have more rights, and have a comfortable work environment.
 • Lots of government involvement and regulation raises cost and slows growth.
