Answer:

Explanation:P.B. Shelly create a negative impression of Ozymandias through his first description as,

"Half sunk, shattered visage lies, whose frown and wrinkled lip and sneer of cold command."

In the above lines Shelly creates negative images of Ozymandius and by use of "Cold command," it indicates that he is unforgiving and cruel. Further explaining his facial expression as "frown" and "wrinkled lip" permanent.

He is a proud character and considers himself to be strong and mighty. He placed a statue on board by creating and saying it as "King of kings." He doesn't realize that all these virtues will come to end and ultimately he will be forgotten. Whereas, Ozymandias desires to be remembered in the generations to come and hence depicts his negative impressions.

Answer:

The poem Ozymandias is a sonnet of Percy Bysshe Shelley which was written in December 1817 during a writing contest and first published on January 11, 1818. The name Ozymandias refers to the Pharaoh Ramses II.

This sonnet deals with a number of major themes, such as arrogance and power, the temporality of art, emotional truth and the relationship between the artist and the subject. These themes are explored with striking imagery.

One of the sonnet's interpretations is that time always wins, and nature always prevails in the end.
