Answer:

Judicial branch is the correct answer.

Explanation:

The judicial branch of the US government contains the federal courts and the judges which interpret the laws made by the legislative branch of the government and enforced by the legislative branch. The nine justices of the supreme court are at the top of the judicial branch. Supreme court is the highest court in the US. The judicial branch is in charge of deciding the meaning of laws, their application in real-life situations. Its other main job is to decide those cases which may differ from the U.S constitution.

What is the purpose of debates in the federal legislative process
sp2606 [1]

Answer:

The purpose of a debate during the federal legislate process is for all parties involved to bring forward their cases and their reasons for either opposing or defending a new bill.

Explanation:

The American democratic system ensures that people can influence a bill through their chosen representatives.

Hence, before a new bill is passed and turned into a Federal law, senators are given a chance to discuss the merits of the proposed bill

Since, all representatives have to vote on passing a bill, this gives a chance for all kinds of debates and points of views to be heard. It is possible that with a constructive discussion and criticisms, the bill can be amended to ensure something that can be accepted by the majority.

2. Study the diagram below. What is one thing about the trench system that fascinates or surprises you? Why?
timurjin [86]

The most surprising thing for me personally was the set up of the trenches, there is a very good system where the front line is the first to attack or be attacked while the others are there as backups. If someone were to get hurt within the first trench, there are easily accessible routes for the soldiers to take to retreat to safety, on the contrary, if the front lines were in need of any reinforcement whatsoever, there is a clear way to travel for the soldiers to get more ammunition or man power.
