The judicial branch of the US government contains the federal courts and the judges which interpret the laws made by the legislative branch of the government and enforced by the legislative branch. The nine justices of the supreme court are at the top of the judicial branch. Supreme court is the highest court in the US. The judicial branch is in charge of deciding the meaning of laws, their application in real-life situations. Its other main job is to decide those cases which may differ from the U.S constitution.
