B. News Article

A news article is an element within a newspaper that is supposed to just relate the facts and nothing but the facts. Contents of news articles can include eyewitness accounts, as many (if not all) perspectives as possible, be free of bias, and be as objective as possible. The reason for this is because newspapers strive to be seen as reliable sources of information where readers can go to get the facts and draw conclusions for themselves. As such, an author of a newspaper article should present a piece of writing that does not take sides and/or contain any opinion on their behalf. It can almost be considered to be like a summary of a happening because of how summaries should be free from bias and opinion and provide readers with facts and nothing more.

Vlada [557]
In today's society, literary devices are constantly used to persuade people. Numerous authors and other writers use literary terms to get you thinking and to get your attention. Writers do this by using literary devices, mainly the simile and hyperbole, to help persuade and warn the audience about their livelihood.

What is Roderick’s unusual affliction? What is Madeline’s affliction?
Gre4nikov [31]

It may be inferred that Roderick's unusual affliction is Fear. See the explanation of this below.

Who is Roderick Usher?

One of Poe's character doppelgangers, Roderick is one of the two remaining Usher family members in "The Fall of the House of Usher." While Madeline, Roderick's sickly and bedridden twin sister, is an intelligent and bookish person.

How did Roderick Die?

The conclusion that Roderick dies of dread may be inferred from the closing scene.

He collapses to the ground like a corpse as Madeline races toward him, too afraid to continue living.

It's even conceivable that Madeline is only a physical representation of Roderick's concerns.

What is Madeline’s affliction?

Roderick claims that Madeline has a cataleptic condition, which has gradually reduced her mobility.

The narrator observes his sister passing through a faraway area of the home while Roderick describes his sister's ailment.
