As tensions grew between the U.S. and the. U.S.S.R, by the end of wwii, because of the separation of Germany, and wether Poland should choose their own government and Germany's reparations. (Reparations are compensation for war damage, so if another country has wronged another country, they'll most likely pay reparations in the form of money, or serious aid...) With that, the Soviets wanted to keep Germany a crippled nation became they wanted revenge for Germany invading them twice in the span of 30 years.

What was the name of the document, based on the declaration of independence, that states all men and women were created equal?
borishaifa [10]

The answer to this question would be choice B. Declaration of Sentiments

At the time the Declaration of Sentiments was proclaimed (which was during the Seneca Falls Convection of 1848) many women were seen inferior to men. (in other words, they weren't believed to be equal to men). Moreover, in an attempt to prove this notion wrong, leaders Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Lucretia Mott decided to arrange the Seneca Falls Convection.

To add on, the Declaration of Sentiments (as you could probably infer from the question), basically stated the following "We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men AND WOMEN are created equal...", thus it greatly resembled the Declaration of Independence. Furthermore, this notable document was a significant step toward women enfranchisement and equality as the work of those who advocated women's suffrage would have their work paid off in 1920 (the year in which the 19th amendment was ratified, which granted women the right to vote).

FIRST TO ANSWER CORRECTLY WILL GET 40 POINTS!!!
Nady [450]
The idea of the social contract theory comes from Jean Jacques Rousseau's book the Social Contract but one of the most prominent philosophers that discussed the idea was Thomas Hobbes who describes social contract as a contract between the individuals and the government, whose authority comes from the people. The people would cede some of their rights to the government for protection and the sovereign is bound by the wishes of the people as it is they that govern his decisions.

So the question of John Stuart Mill relate to the theory of the social contract very much. The main issue is exactly how many rights would the people have to cede and what would be the right balance between the independence and the obedience to the social contract. That is a very thin and tricky line to navigate.
