Endurance exercises help people improve their breathing and circulatory systems and, at the same time, they allow the person stay healthy and fit.  Moreover, the American Heart Association highlights the importance of performing endurance exercises regularly along with strength, balance and flexibility so as to reduce the risk of many diseases such as diabetes, heart disease and stroke.
