Explanation about how the government prepared the nation for war, the role that minorities played in the war effort and its similarities or differences from the experiences of World War I.

Minorities played an important role in the first world war. Many volunteered in the armed forces and fought wars not only in the united states of America but also in foreign countries as well.

People volunteered in factories and industries to make equipment and goods for the war. Although it was not common during the other wars, the need for it rose during the second world war.

People in the United States of America supported the war by buying war bonds, working in industries and rationing consumer goods. It was in this time women got a right to vote too.

What was an effect of the Battle of Tippecanoe?
AleksandrR [38]

Answer:

Battle of Tippecanoe, lithograph by Kurz and Allison c. 1889. Defeat at Fallen Timbers and the subsequent treaties did not end American Indian resistance to U.S. expansion into the Ohio Valley. The U.S. victory broke Tecumseh's power and ended the threat of an Indian confederation.

How did Supreme Court rulings give the federal government greater power ?
jonny [76]
I would know about John Marshall. He was a federalist supreme court chief justice. He gave more power to the government by taking a loose construction of the Constitution. So basically he said, "If it doesnt say we (Fed Gov't) cant do it, then we can)".
Know about these Court cases
Gibbons V. Ogden
McCullough V. Maryland
Fletcher V. Peck
Cohens V. Virginia
Barron V. Baltimore- this one is hard to find, so basically it just said that because the Bill of Rights was a Federal decision, it didnt apply to the states.
The rest are really easy to find out about, and you could type in John Marshall and it would probably give you all of these.

Was there a difference between the people of the middle ages and people of the renassiance
forsale [732]
The people in the Middle Ages were still highly connected to the church. Priests, and clergy ruled during that time, & what the church said was almost interpreted as law. In the Renaissance they took a step away from church, especially after the bubonic plague and started focusing more on humanism.
