Explanation about how the government prepared the nation for war, the role that minorities played in the war effort and its similarities or differences from the experiences of World War I.

Minorities played an important role in the first world war. Many volunteered in the armed forces and fought wars not only in the united states of America but also in foreign countries as well.

People volunteered in factories and industries to make equipment and goods for the war. Although it was not common during the other wars, the need for it rose during the second world war.

People in the United States of America supported the war by buying war bonds, working in industries and rationing consumer goods. It was in this time women got a right to vote too.
