Hi. Here are the answers and I am adding an image that shows the first one step by step. The steps would be the same for any problems like these. I hope it helps.

708÷9 = 78 6/9 which reduces to 78 2/3

555÷8= 69 3/8

192÷5= 38 2/5

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Take care,
Diana

All you do is divide 96 divided by 6. That is your equation. Then when you divide it, you find that he will put 16 on each shelf. All of the shelves will have the same number of books. The next one all you do is add all of them up and it will equal 43. So he has 43 dvd in total. Now if he wants to only keep eight of the dvds you subtract eight from 43. That equals 35. Now all you do is divide that by 5 to see how many he will give each friend. Once you're finished with that you find that he will give 7 to each friend.
So, the answers to each problem are 16 with the equation using distributive property 2(44 + 2) divided by 6 and 7.
I hope this helps:) Please give brainliest:)

Nikitich [7]
If we know that Laura's canvas is square, and one side is 22cm,

area of a square is l*w, with a special case of l=w

 the area will be
A= l*w=22*22=484cm^2

also, Asquare is=l^2

A square has a side that measures 55 units. What is the area of a circle with a circumference that equals the perimeter of the s
Taya2010 [7]
<h3><u>Given</u>:-</h3>

\rightarrow Side of square = 5.5 units.

\rightarrow Circumference of circle = perimeter of square.

<h3><u>To Find</u>:-</h3>

\rightarrow Area of circle.

<h3><u>Solution</u>:-</h3>

\rightarrow To find the area of circle firstly we have to find the perimeter of the square, then we will find the radius of circle and after that area of circle. So, let's begin:

\rightarrow Perimeter of square = \sf{4×side}(putting the value of side from the above given)

\rightarrow \sf{=\: 4 × 5.5}

\rightarrow \sf{=\: 22units.}

Therefore, perimeter of square = 22units.

Now, according to the question, perimeter of square = circumference of the circle. So, circumference of circle = 22units.

Now, using the formula of circumference of circle we can find the radius.

\rightarrow Circumference of circle = \sf{2πr}(putting the value of perimeter)

\rightarrow \sf{22\:=\: 2×3.14×r}

\rightarrow \sf{22\:=\: 6.28×r}

\rightarrow \sf{\frac{22}{6.28}\:=\: r}

\rightarrow \sf{3.50units\:=\: r}

Therefore, radius of circle = 3.50units.

Now, let's find area of the circle:

\rightarrow Area of circle = \sf{πr^2}

\rightarrow \sf{πr^2}(putting the value of pie(π) and radius(r))

\rightarrow \sf{3.14×3.50^2}

\rightarrow \sf{3.14×12.25}

\rightarrow \sf{38.46unit^2}

Therefore, area of circle = \sf{38.46unit^2}

Find the area of the triangle.<br> Area<br> square units (Round to decimal places!)
Helen [10]

<u>Given</u>:

Given that the triangle with ∠B = 45°

The length of the side a is 4 units.

The length of the side c is 8 units.

We need to determine the area of the triangle.

<u>Area of the triangle:</u>

The area of the triangle can be determined using the formula,

Area =  \frac{1}{2} ac \ sin B

Substituting a = 4, c = 8 and ∠B = 45° in the above formula, we have;

Area =  \frac{1}{2} (4)(8) \ sin 45^{\circ}

Simplifying, we get;

Area =  \frac{1}{2} (4)(8) (0.707)

Area =  \frac{1}{2} (22.624)

Area =  11.31

Thus, the area of the triangle is 11.31 square units.
