Simplify  6x+7-5x to x+7
- 3 (x-1)+8(x-3)=x+7
Expand
-3x+3+8x-24=x+7
Simplify -3x+3+8x-24 to 5x-21
5x-21+x+7
Add 21 to both sides
5x=x+7+21
Simplify x+7+21 to x +28
5x=x+28
Subtract x from both sides
5x-x=28
Simplify 5x-x to 4x
4x=28
Divide both sides by 4
x=\frac{28}{4}
Then Simplify 28/4 to 7

And your answer is x=7
