Please help :< I'm not sure if I'm doing this correctly... An empty graduated cylinder weights 82.450g. When filled to 50.0mL

with an unknown liquid it weighs 110.810 g. What is the density of the unknown liquid? Do I do, d= m/v so,82.450/50.0mL, Also, my teacher is very specific with significant figures for chemistry (so I hope it will be the correct sig fig? The person is vague but very picky) Thank you! :)
(I asked this in the chemistry section but I hope those in the mathematics section know this).

For what values of b the relation R:{(b^2, 5), (5b, 6)} is not a function?
xenn [34]

Answer:

B=5,0.

Step-by-step explanation:

It's not that hard. It's just that it might throw you off a bit with the R and the other things. Functions if you don't remember are where the coordinates don't have the same x and y. So since the y1 and y2 are different then to make it not a function, you have to make x1 and x2. To make it that b would have to be = to 5 and 0.

A rectangular solid and a cube are of equal volume. If the rectangular solid is 20 centimeters long, 5 centimeters wide, and 10
abruzzese [7]

Answer:

10 centimeters.

Step-by-step explanation:

First, we need to remember what's the formula to get the volume of a rectangular solid and a cube.

The volume of the first equals:

Volume = Length x Width x Height

While the volume of the cube is:

Volume = a^{3} where a is the edge.

We are given the measures of the rectangular solid so we can calculate its volume:

Volume= (20)(5)(10)=1000 cubic cms.

Now, we know that  both the volume of the rectangular solid and the cube are the same so we will use this information to calculate the edge of the cube.

1000=a^3 \\\sqrt[3]{1000} =\sqrt[3]{a^3} \\10=a

Thus the length of an edge of the cube is 10 centimeters

Find the surface area of a rectangular prism with a height of 6 inches, a width of 7 inches, and a length of 13 inches. A) 338 i
oee [108]

Answer:

422 in.2

Step-by-step explanation:

Substitute the measurements of the rectangular prism into the formula SA = 2(lw) + 2 (lw) + 2(lh): 2(13)(7) + 2(6)(7) + 2(13)(6) = 422 in2.
