Answer:

War between Eastern and Western Europe.

Explanation:

The division between Western and Eastern Europe was "created" at the end of World War II to divide capitalist countries (under US influence) from communists (under Soviet influence). Basically countries in western Europe are more developed (economically and socially) than those in eastern Europe. Western Europe has a higher development, a lower unemployment rate, a higher quality of life.

Despite Soviet occupation in eastern Europe, it had no effect, no influence, nor did it wage the wars between Eastern and Western Europe.

President Adams’ reaction to the XYZ affair demonstrated his belief in what?
IgorC [24]

Answer:

peaceful negotiation

Explanation:

President Adams was the 2nd President of the United States. He sent American diplomats to France in 1797 in order to lessen the tension that was happening between America and France. He was after the "peaceful negotiation" of the two nations.

The diplomats were Charles Cotesworth Pinckney, John Marshall and Elbridge Gerry. This then became the "XYZ affair" later on. However, the French agents asked them for a bribe before they could negotiate with the Prime Minister. This caused an outcry over the issue of "bribe solicitation." This was followed by an undeclared war.

Thus, this explains the answer.

This world war ii poster is suggesting that
Salsk061 [2.6K]
Probably the poster you have in view is suggesting that freedom of speech might have its limits in times of war.
During World War II, there were posters with slogans such as, "Pipe down, soldier! Berlin is listening!" and "Keep your trap shut! Careless talk may cost American lives!" and "Walls have ears; be careful of what you say." If the poster your assignment included doesn't have an image or theme about keeping quiet about matters of national security, then maybe add an image of the poster here so we can see what other type of poster you may have in view.
