Think about various conflicts in the novel. Identify and describe one event from the novel that represents a cause-and-effect re

lationship that creates conflict. Explain the effect the conflict has on other characters in the story.
I need another conflict to get full points. The novel is 'Dragonwings' by Laurence Yep, but I simply didn't have time to read all of the book, so my answer so far is:

"Throughout the novel, there are various conflicts, some mild and some dangerous. One conflict seen in the novel would be when Windrider killed a man in an act of self-defense, so he is forced to flee with Moon Shadow, leading to leaving behind everything they've ever known or loved. Another conflict could possibly be..."

Answer: One great conflict in "Dragonwings" by Laurence Yep is when Black Dog, Uncle Bright Star's evil son, robs and threatens them. Windrider gives him the money; they were so close to achieving their goals and, once again, they have lost everything.

After this latest setback, the Company and the Whitlaws support them, giving them financial aid and coming to watch them fly their plane.

Another conflict is when on one flight, the frame of the plane snaps, and Windrider breaks a leg and ribs. Now, he realizes that family is more important than killing yourself to reach objectives.

Statement describes how the author develops their analysis of the Hero’s Journey?
Sati [7]

Answer:

The best statment that describes it: The author describes the structure of the Hero's Journey and then explores how it translates to popular books.

Explanation:

The path of the hero starts in a very humble way. Sal is a simple kid that grew up in a simple family with his parents. When her mother leaves her, her path becomes heroic. As the path is not easy and it is full of obstacles, she learns how to be strong, and to live her life without her mother.

The author follows the story of the Hero’s Journey (a theme developed by Joseph Campbell).
