I answered this question before, if you look it up.
What Samuel Adams is trying to say is that, if the British parliament is going to tax on the American colonists, then the colonists should have a say on the parliament when it comes to both taxes and laws.
This is where the famous phrase "NO TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION" comes from.
American colonists wanted independence due to this unfair treatment that the British gave to the colonists, as well as no say in Parliament.

Cheers!

Which statement BEST describes the policy of the United States in the rebuilding of Japan, following World War II? A) Japan shou
lubasha [3.4K]

The correct answer is c) Japan should rebuilt along capitalistic lines to make it a worthy and save trading partner.

The statement that best describes the United States policy in the rebuilding of Japan after WWII is that Japan should rebuild along capitalistic lines to make it a worthy and save trading partner.

After World War II, the United States helped in the reconstruction process of Japan. General Douglas McArthur enacted military, economic, and political reforms that helped Japan in the reconstruction process. The United States considered that this was the best way to have a trade partner in the future, instead of an enemy. So it’s true that the statement that best describes the United States policy in the rebuilding of Japan after WWII is that Japan should rebuild along capitalistic lines to make it a worthy and save trading partner.
