Read this excerpt from We’ve Got a Job. No one would have blamed Mr. and Mrs. Hendricks if they had decided to keep quiet about

civil rights following the bombing of their friend's home. But Audrey's parents weren't intimidated. The very next day, her father and about fifteen other blacks sat down in the front section of a bus, where only whites were permitted. When the driver demanded they move to the back, Audrey's father politely refused, saying "We [are] comfortable where we are sitting." As a result, Mr. Hendricks was arrested and spent six nights in jail. When he was released, he volunteered to guard the Shuttlesworths’ home. Answer:

The correct answer is: his courage.

Explanation:

In the excerpt above, the author says that Mr. and Mrs. Hendricks were not intimidated, so Mr. Hendricks decided to act with courage and disobey the rules in order to keep fighting, although his friend's house was destroyed.

We've Got a Job is a book written by Cynthia Levison, first time published in 2012. The book tells a story about Birmingham Children's March in 1963 when thousands of elementary, middle-school and high-school students went to streets to fight for their rights, to desegregate Birmingham, which was one of the most racist cities in America.

GaryK [48]

What is your opinion?

Two parent families are in the best interest of children?

- What is the best interest of children; are the children witnessing a healthy relationship?

Or parents who only stay together for the children?

- A couple only together for the sake of their children may actually be a bad example for their children.

Hope this helps a little!

Your answer would be B.)!
That's because a close ended question would be a question that only requires a simple yes or no answer, or a short and sweet answer, not a long list of effects such as B.) is asking for.
Hope this helped!
