The correct answer is A) fewer than two-thirds of the Senate voted for his conviction.

President Clinton remained president, even after he was impeached because fewer than 2/3 of the Senate voted for his conviction.

Everybody knows the story of Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinski and other affairs. The impeachment trial started on October 8, 1998. IUS President Clinton had lied under oath and obstructed justice he was accused of high crimes and misdemeanors.

The US Senate needed 67 votes or two-thirds to remove Clinton, but it did not reach that number. That is why President Clinton remained president,

The other options of the question were B) he apologized for his actions before he could be removed. C) vice president Gore was ineligible to take Clinton's place. D) he admitted to lying under oath.

The senate did not reach the 2/3's majority needed to fully process his impeachment. Clinton was impeached by the House on two charges. The first being perjury, and the second being obstruction of justice. Following this he was acquitted by the senate.

In your opinion was the Treaty of Versailles fair – why/why not?
Pls answer it, thanks!
Airida [17]
In my opinion, it wasn’t fair. It blamed the entire war only on Germany, which caused them to have a severe economic depression and crumbled their entire nation. This is one of the reasons why Germany started WW2. Germany also wasn’t the only nation that completely started WW1, it started when a Serbian terrorist group assassinated the Archduke of Austria- Hungary.
