History
1 answer:
UNO [17]3 years ago

They reacted rather poorly. They were afraid of another war and wanted to prevent it at all costs, so they didn't bother fascists like Mussolini or Nazism led by Hitler. They supported the policies of appeasement, which meant that they were prepared to give them what they wanted if that meant avoiding more wars since they were still recovering after world war 1.

How did the Phoenician glass trade impact the Mediterranean region?
Lena [83]
So with so many colonies spread across the Mediterranean Region, it should not be a surprise that the Phoenicians left a legacy along the way. When a civilization takes on the traits of another civilization it is called cultural diffusion. Through trade the Phoenicians not only carried goods on their travels, they also sprinkled their culture all along the Mediterranean Region. How do you think the government will react if colonists do what Washington suggests?
vladimir1956 [14]

He helped the new government establish the executive branch during his two terms in office, formed Washington, D.C., allowed for settlement in the west, and established norms for behaviour that have influenced presidents ever since.

Washington maintained his objectivity and sought to be the president of all Americans. His fundamental defence was that, in his opinion, a democratic republic need harmony rather than division to function. Government officials predicted that political parties would split and ruin the young United States. He warns the American people to be aware of anyone who wants to divide off a portion of the country from the rest of the country or abandon the Union.
