Answer:

A fundamental idea to understand why that era was called the Enlightenment is the notion that human life and society can be improved through rational change. This period produced many books, essays, treaties, new philosophies, wars and revolutions. Enlightenment thinkers questioned the traditional authority and ideas. A whole renovation of thinking in philosophy and sciences was accomplished. It is also called the Age of Reason. Our modernity wouldn´t be what it is without the contributions of Enlightenment.

Give me a summary of the great depression?
Minchanka [31]
The Great Depression of 1929-33 was the most severe economic crisis of modern times. Millions of people lost their jobs, and many farmers and businesses were bankrupted. Industrialized nations and those supplying primary products (food and raw materials) were all affected in one way or another.
States like Oklahoma, the panhandle of Texas, Kansas, Colorado and Portions of New Mexico were devastated.
