You've found an Internet article that supports your view of a research subject. The author seems to have excellent credentials,

and the article is very well written. However, the author seems to be using outdated information to support her claims, and you can't find other articles that corroborate her information. Which of the following statements best describes what your course of action should be and why?
       A. You should use the article as a reference. The author is obviously an expert in her field and the information doesn't need to be "nitpicked." B. You should not use the article as a reference. The lack of corroboration and outdated information outweigh the author's credentials. C. You should use the article as a reference. The important thing is that you've found a source that will bolster your arguement. D. You should not use the article as a reference. Information from the Internet isn't trustworthy.

Is poverty a form of deviance or a source of
deviance? Discuss.
zimovet [89]

Answer:

Poverty is a source of deviance. Poverty is characterized by the partial or total lack of economic resources necessary to satisfy the basic needs of a person, such as food, housing, health and education. This lack of resources necessarily implies a lack of these essential services for human development, with which the person as such grows and lives with a series of structural deficiencies that affect his life daily, generating a poor quality of life and a situation of permanent need.

For this reason, this need often generates a deviance in the correct behavior of people, because due to lack of education and opportunities, many poor people end up resorting to crime as a way to earn a living. In addition, in situations these people also engage in illegal or unhealthy activities such as drug or alcohol consumption, with the aim of abstracting from those kinds of negative situations that occur in their lives.

The position of th topic sentence often shifts, according to the author and writing style. Where is one place the topic sentence
ad-work [718]
The position of a topic sentence often shifts, according to the author and writing style. One should never place the topic sentence in the middle of the paragraph. It will just give your reader confusion what really the paragraph is talking about. You can place it either in the beginning or at the end of the paragraph.
