Publius Vergilius Maro or Virgil wrote this Latin epic poem during the last decade of his life between 29 and 19 BC. Nowadays, <em>Aeneid</em> is considered one of the most famous poems in Latin literature; it tells the story of the Troyan character Aeneas and his journey from Troy to Italy and his journey in becoming the founder of the glorious Rome.
