Answer:

The expression is F=(Total cost)-2(cost of each ticket)

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the cost of two tickets each @ $24.95. Also total cost will be $64.50

Let F represent the cost of ordering each ticket online.

we have to write the expression that could be used to find the cost of ordering each ticket.

As, the sum of cost of ordering tickets online and the cost of two tickets gives the total cost i.e

F+2(cost of each ticket)=Total cost

F=(Total cost)-2(cost of each ticket)

F=Total cost-2($24.95)

Now, solving above we get the F, the cost of ordering each ticket.

⇒ F=$64.50-2($24.95)=$14.6

Given a right triangle with legs a, b and hypotenuse c, solve for a if b= 20 and c= 29
pantera1 [17]

Answer:

C) 21

Step-by-step explanation:

a² + 20² = 29²       Use Pythagorean Theorem to solve for a

a² + 400 = 841       Solve for the exponents

     - 400 - 400      Subtract 400 from both sides

a² = 441                  Take the square root of both sides

a = 21

KatRina [158]
Hey there!

In order to answer this question, it's easiest to start with one of the money amounts and work your way to the other ones. Keep in mind that, no matter what, the amount of collective money won't exceed 1.50, meaning you can't have two 1 dollar bills, etc. When I wrote it out, I did it in this order:

1 = 1 dollar
0.5 = Half dollar
0.25 = Quarter

1 + 0.5 = 1.50
1 + 0.25 + 0.25 = 1.50
0.5 + 0.5 + 0.5 = 1.50
0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 + 0.25 = 1.50
0.5 + (0.25*4) = 1.50
0.25*6 = 1.50

Since no other combinations add up to 1.50, your answer is 6.

Hope this helped you out! :-)
