When you're looking for the volume of a cylinder, you have to use the equation V= \pi r^{2} h
And this V is equal to volume, R is equal to radius, and H is equal to height.
In this case, you've got to find what r²is. To do this, square 5. 5x5= 25.
You've then got to substitute this into the equation, along side H, which is equal to 7, and this gives you V=π*25*7, you've then got to multiply these all together (using π as 3.142) this gives you 549.85cm³
Therefore, you need 549.85cm³ of water to fill the pipe.
Hope this helps :)

An architect finds some unlabeled dimensions on a blueprint, and no scale is shown. A 14-foot wall that has already been built m
Marianna [84]

Answer:

Option (C)

The new wall will be 42 foot long

Explanation:

Given a 14-foot wall in reality equals 2 inches in drawing

And a new wall has to be built that measures 6 inches in the drawing

According to the question

2 inches (in drawing) = 14-foot (in reality)

6-inces (in drawing) = \frac{(14\times6)}{2} = 42 foot

Therefore, the wall that measures 6 inches in the drawing will be 42 foot long in reality

What are the roots of the equation 9x2 – 36x +37
O in simplest a + bí form?
Svetlanka [38]

Answer:

 x = 2+1/3i or 2-1/3i

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation of interest can be written in vertex form as ...

 9(x -2)² +1 = 0

so its solutions can be found by subtracting 1, dividing by 9, taking the square root, then adding 2.

 x = 2 ± √(-1/9)

In the desired form, the zeros of the given expression are ...

 x = 2 +1/3i or 2 -1/3i
