The moon's gravitational pull is the strongest when it is closest to the Earth. The moon isn't closer to us in any specific season... We get farther away from the sun thats why we get winter...

The ancient Greeks believed in many gods and goddesses. They made many beautiful temples, and preyed very frequently to them. The belief was if you got the gods angry, bad things would happen, such as death. But, according to their beliefs, gods also controlled for forces of nature, so D.

Let's take the King of Gods and God of Thunder, Zeus. When it rained, it was assumed that Zeus had been angered, and all efforts were made to get him happy again. It was thought that droughts, fortune, famine, anything - was the work of the gods.
