The two parts that the WHO attributes to deal with the psychological effect of wars to humans was highlighted by the WHO Executive Board which then urged to "support for implementation of programmes to repair the psychological damage of war, conflict and natural disasters" and the World Health Assembly <span>which also urged member states "to strengthen action to protect children from and in armed conflict".</span>
