Answer:

Too narrow

Explanation:

The subject of the thesis that summarizes the main idea and the purpose of the research paper is too limited and reduced in extent. The reason is that the golden finch by itself has particular and restricted feeding habits. In fact, its diet is based on seeds and certain plants, so in order to develop a research paper, it is suitable to broaden the topic, such as the feeding habits of birds in a particular area.

I believe it's adequate. "The Feeding Habits of the Golden Finch." It's a very descriptive title, and gives you just enough information to know what you're reading/reviewing without overdoing it too much.

n "American History," when Elena finally speaks to Eugene, how is he different from what she expected? a. She expects snobbery,
stich3 [128]

Answer:

a. She expects snobbery, but he turns out to be shy and open to friendship.

Explanation:

Before meeting Eugene, Elena had imagined a situation entirely different from what actually happened. She had drawn hasty conclusions from Eugene and believed he was thick, snobbish, mean, arrogant and a very difficult person to maintain a balanced and profitable conversation. However, when meeting him for the first time, she can see how much she was wrong, because Eugene was a shy, pleasant, calm boy and very easy to have a conversation because he was willing to make a new friendship.

Which sentence correctly identifies an adverb clause?
IrinaVladis [17]

The correct answer is - (Before we left the camping grounds), we noticed a sign for the scenic trail.

An adverb clause functions the same way a simple adverb would - it describes the time, place, manner, etc. of the verb, of the action that is taking place. The only option that does this is C - before we left the camping grounds is an adverb clause which tells us when the action of noticing a sign happened.

Options A and B are adjective clauses; option D contains a noun clause.
