1 and a half (1 1/2) because a dot adds half or the value of the original note for example if you have a half note which is two beats and you add a dot the dot is now worth 1 beat (2 *1/2), which make the it 3 beats and that not is called a dotted half note....

Which combination of musical instruments is most suitable for a string quartet?sodt
Goryan [66]
The general structure of a string quartet is:

Violin I

Violin II

Viola

Cello

The Violin I plays the Soprano parts, the Violin II plays the Alto parts, the Viola plays the Tenor parts, and the Cello plays the Bass parts. The two most important parts of a string quartet are the Violin I and Cello. The Violin I and the Cello the melody plays the counterpoint, while the Violin II and Viola parts are filler parts that are there to make the piece sound nicer.

What is an example of a complementary pair of colors? What can happen when you put two complementary colors together?
Slav-nsk [51]
Complementary colours are colours that are combined to make a grayscale off colours

A complementary pair is when you combine colours that are opposite of each other like red and green, or yellow and purple etc.

When you put two of these colours together they cancel each other out which leads to that grayscale of colours like grey or even brown
