The story of the Night Calls by Lisa Fugard
has quite a dark theme. The main element is family love between an estranged
father-daughter relationship. The tone of writing was monotonous, perhaps that’s
why it lacks reviews from different sites. The mood is very touching. It shows
that there is really a deep, unconditional love among the family even after her
mother left. In a way, they still carry on with their lives taking care of each
other.
Work done by several associates with each doing a part but all subordinating personal prominence to the efficiency of the whole.
Contrast: Insects may have entered a cool home and earthworms would have escaped to under the cool soil.
Compare: They both may have gone to a chilly area from their instincts.
