Felisha loves the Dallas Cowboys. Her cousin, Eddie, doesn't. Felisha a is trying to convince him that they are going to win the

Super Bowl this year. Felisha states: ” The Cowboys are ” America’s Team’ for a reason. They have a long history of winning games. They have a huge fan base. They are one of the best teams in the NFC East division this year. And with their new recruits, they are bound to dominate on defense. All the sports analysts are predicting a fantastic season, and -ask any fan- we are Super Bowl bound, baby!” Evaluate the worthiness of this argument and explain your position ( Hint: Apply the four test.) 2. Evaluate the argument for reasoning errors. Explain what they are, or not. why it’s a reasonable argument. 3. Has Felisha convinced you with the argument she has made? Why or why not?

Felisha is trying to put an argument forward to prove that the Dallas Cowboys will win the Super Bowl this year. This is an inherently problematic approach, as it is impossible to know with certainty whether this will be the case or not.

However, we can still analyze the quality of her argument. The fact that the team has a long history of winning, that they have new recruits and that sports analysts are predicting a victory are strong claims. However, the fact that the team is popular and that it has a huge fan base are not good arguments. Overall, due to the unpredictability of the situation, Felisha's argument is not very convincing.
