Answer:

In "The Hunger Games", when you use a psychoanalytic critical theroy, you see that Katniss Everdeen faces many mental challenges because of what she goes through, such as being volunteering as tribute in her sisters place. It can change you interpretation of the character by letting you examine what she goes through mentally and physically. It also affects veiwing the theme when you realize what the author is trying to tell you. Katniss is most often viewed as a strong, willful, and compassionate person, and when you focas on the mental challanges, you notice that she also is bothered by her past. The theme is more focused on the point of how rebellion and suffering can affect people and make them hostile. Changing your viewpoint allows you to take note of how different decisions affect what happens.

Answer:

Jungian theory can be applied to literature of any period—there is a brilliant analysis of Colonna’s Hypnerotomachia Poliphili by Linda Fierz-David based on the psychological meaning of alchemical symbolism. Freudian and related theories fail for pre-Romantic work.  As for post-colonial theory—only for works written with that point of view.  Valid analysis of meaning is possible only in the context of the period and milieu in which a work was written.

What can we infer is Chaucer's point in including this description of the Prioress? To illustrate her commendable manners.

The correct answer would be to distinguish her from less pilgrims. She does courtly things like weep for a trapped mouse but we also see that she has no problem feeding her hounds with flesh. From examples like these we can see that she behaves like a lady of the court as to imitate that behavior. It is not a reflection of her true feelings.

write about how you would like to achieve these goals, make up a plan, and mention how you could sway from it or have swayed from it. talk about how maybe you had a different plan then changed to your current one. the integrity part is asking if you are willing to stay true to the goals and not sway from them bc of other things
