1) ratio of number of seats to the number of minutes: 2 seats / 11 minutes

2) proportion relating the number of seats s to the number of minutes m:

s / m = 2 seats / 11 minutes

3) How long will it take to add 16 seats

16 seats / x = 2 seats / 11 minutes

=> x = 16 seats * 11 minutes / 2 seats = 88 minutes

4) How long will it take to add 19 seats:

19 seats / x = 2 seats / 11 minutes

=> x = 19 seats * 11 minutes / 2 seats = 104.5 minutes.

Answer:

150°

Step-by-step explanation:

We know each angle in a equilateral triangle is 60° and that of a rectangle is 90° . So ,

\implies \angle ABC = \angle DBC + \angle ABD \\\\\implies \angle ABC = 90^o + 60^o \\\\\implies \boxed{\boxed{ \angle ABC = 150^o }}

Which type of conic section is described by the following equation?
krok68 [10]

Answer:

  C.  Hyperbola opening up and down

Step-by-step explanation:

A graph tells the tale.

___

The term with the positive coefficient identifies the axis along which the hyperbola opens. Here, that is the y-axis, so the figure opens up and down.

The minus sign between the squared terms indicates it is a hyperbola, rather than a closed curve (ellipse or circle). The fact that both terms are squared indicates it is <em>not</em> a parabola.

A cylindrical tank has a diameter of 2.5 feet and a height of 4.8 feet. what is the lateral surface area of the tank to the near
blsea [12.9K]

Answer:

This is approximately 37.7 ft^{2} to the nearest hundredth

Step-by-step explanation:

First of all, we will need to understand that to find the lateral surface area of the cylinder, we simply need to multiply the circumference of the circular base by the height of the cylinder.

In this case, the circumference of the circular base can be obtained by the formula

2 \pi r

Hence we will have the circumference as 2 \times \pi \times \frac{2.5}{2}=7.85 feet

Tp get the Lateral area, we will simply have to multiply this value (7.85 feet )

by the height (4.8 feet)

7.85 X 4.8 =37.68 feet ^{2}

This is approximately 37.7 ft^{2} to the nearest hundredth
