Why do you prefer one kind of music over another kind? In music you like, what elements do you find most important?

Liking or listening to different music at different times depends on one's moods. But to relax and continue working I prefer music classical without words so it does not distract me but helps keep me relaxed. One of my favorite composers is Vivaldi. If I want to be reminiscient I listen to old school R&B. Marvin Gaye is a favorite of mine.
