"El hervido" is a typical dish of Venezuela. It is a very simple dish that is used to be taken as dinner. It consists of potatoes with different vegetables seasoned with olive oil and salt. "El hervido" is a kind of soup in which you have to put the ingredients inside a saucepan with some water. You must keep 15 minutes strong fire and another 15 to 20 slow fire. Then, drain and serve with a dash of oil and vinegar or homemade mayonnaise.
