Describe in your own words why you feel it's important to learn about WW1

I feel we should learn about world war 1 because we need to learn from our past mistakes so they are not repeat in the future. The US also has a relationship with the war. I also think many americans don't know very much about who fought in World War 1. I think students should know the choices we made in the past and how they happen because something so big in history/past can impact the future.
