I think that checking any answer for any problem is important. Even if you think you really got the answer right, doing a couple more steps to proof your answer right will make you 100% sure on your choice. When it comes to algebra, I think that is the most important class to check your work. So it is very VERY useful

Can you give me two definitions with two sentences of the word tip ?
Elanso [62]

Answer:

Just like many other words, the word tip has multiple meanings. Two of them are:

 • A small but useful piece of advice. For example, Can you give me any tips on how to start learning a new language?
 • The amount of money you give to someone for good service, e.g. to a waiter. For example, When you go to a restaurant, make sure to leave a tip.

________ a figure of speech involving the comparison of one thing with another thing of a different kind, used to make a descrip
Andre45 [30]

Answer:

The answer is: A simile.

Explanation:

A simile compares two things in an interesting way, its objective is to obtain the reader's attention making a connection in her/his mind. For instance, an example of a simile can be: I am as powerful as a queen. He is funny as a monkey. In this examples, as you can see I am comparing two different things. In difference with a metaphor, which doesn't compare something but rather only says; he's a monkey, she's a queen. And automatically we know why, depending on the context.
