The battle of Wounded Knee took place at Wounded Knee Creek, in the southwestern part of South Dakota. 150-300 Native American's were killed by U.S. troops in the attempt of trying to stop the white men from taking their land.
A major objective of both the Annapolis Convention and the Philadelphia Convention were both based around revising certain things such as the Articles of Confederation and trade barriers, but more so to create a new government, rather than to fix the weaker one which was in place.
The Line of Demarcation gave all lands west of the line to "<span>d. Spain, and lands east of it to Portugal" which was a major reason why colonization turned out the way it did. </span>
